Hi!
Thanks for visiting this site.
While we aren’t necessarily what we do, below you
can find some more information on what I have done so far… At least on a professional level.
However, my greatest achievements are my daughters, Aurora and Eugenia, and my wife, Ilse (whose existence is obviously not my achievement but, since she’s usually by my side, I’m allowing myself some bragging rights).
Oh! I also had a couple of cancers and wrote a book about it. The rest, as I was saying earlier, is down below.

Sergio Jablon was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1968. He’s written across
various mediums (film, television, newspaper, and radio) in Spanish, English, and
Portuguese.
He’s published a collection of short stories Celos y Tenedores y Otras Historias
de Amor (Jealousy and Forks and Other Love Stories), as well as a novel, En Su Propio Beneficio (For their own Benefit), which received a special mention in the prestigious Miguel Otera Silva award in 1999. It was also first runner-up in the Planeta Venezuela Awards that same year.
In 2007, his screenplay, El Señor Presidente (Mr. President), won Best Screenplay at the Strasbourg International Film Festival in Strasbourg, France.
Since 2010, Jablon has served as Head Writer for TelevisaUnivision’s Music and
Entertainment Division. While serving in this position, he’s worked on some of Latin TV’s biggest shows, such as Premio Lo Nuestro, Mira Quien Baila, Tu Cara Me Suena, Premios Juventud, Latin American Music Awards, and Latin Grammy.
A Guy with Cancer Walks into a Bar… is his best (and only) non-fiction book to
date.
